Gymnast in the House!

Morgan passed her Spider (hand-stand) in gymnastics and is now working on her hand-stand forward roll and cartwheel. The bars are still her strength, but since she passed her spider she feels so much more confident which is transferring to home. She's been 'climbing' the door now for a few months.

6 yr B - Day 'Party'

For her 6th birthday Morgan wanted a party...but she wanted to re - create a great skiing adventure from last year. Last Christmas break,  Dec 30, we and other family friends, including her bestie Elsa, went skiing, then all ate at Olive Garden.
So this year we tried to do the same

This was her first run of the morning, she just headed down the hill! Nice controlled snowplow.

And by the afternoon she and Jim were riding the chair lift and Jim was leaving her to come down on her own. You will see a snowboarder come down (Jim) then hear him carve in behind me. Morgan is the slow little person controlling her decent around the bend!

Spring 2014 Suzuki Concert

Morgan played her first real piece for the Spring Concert. Last year she bowed Goody Goody Stop Stop because she was so nervous. Now she has moved onto to real songs and is independently fingering the notes!

We are so thrilled with her performance because she held it together and didn't cry or give up when she made mistakes. She on the other hand is very disappointed in how she did. We are trying to emphasize that it is the perseverance that is important, not perfection!
All dressed up!
