We had a quiet home'party', she picked spaghetti with her favorite sausage (slices of italian sausage instead of crumbles) and bread (and the mandatory salad) then a cupcake with (soy)creamcheese frosting. She was SO excited just to be able to have cake!
Then she opened her birthday presents.She got the most amazing and thoughtful gifts from people!
Morgan's best friend Elsa had her 5th b-day on Jan 16. The girls go to school together and that';s how they met, but it turns out they live 2 blocks from us as well so they are neighborhood friends, too! We had a shared birthday party for both girls on Jan. 20 - a Fairy Princess party. I would like to toot Amy's (Elsa's mom) and my horn for a bit. It was such a fun 'hime' party. We had a No Gift caviat on the invitations and none of the parents blinked an eye or questioned us, and the girls never missed anything. The got home-made cards from all the guests and some sticker books.
